In April, Washington Nationals Philanthropies teamed up with the Greater Washington Community Foundation and Shiftsmart to bring the Get Shift Done initiative to the Washington area.

The Nationals’ charitable arm, Nationals Philanthropies, is expanding its outreach into the Washington, D.C. community to help those impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Washington Nationals are helping to connect laid-off workers with local nonprofits feeding the community

The program pays displaced hospitality workers $15 an hour to help out at area food banks which are overwhelmed right now trying to meet the need.
